The Canadian Premier Women's dragonboat national team have arrived safe and sound in Tampa. So far - no casualties (human or paddle-wise). The hotel is pretty great - the free margaritas during the managers hour are a nice touch :). The hotel is going to go under this week hosting a bunch of paddlers (including the Aussies who drink like fish).
It's crazy hot here - and humid. It's similar to Macau except that we actually understand when people speak to us.
First practice tomorrow morning at 8:45.
